DELETE COMPRESS FILES OS LEVEL

To list files dated Apr 24

To list files of Month Apr

ls -lrt *.trc|grep 'Apr'|xargs rm -rf  {}\;

To delete files of Month Apr

rm -rf `ls -lrt | grep 'Apr' | awk -F' ' '{print$9}'`

To list files older than 60 days
--------------------------------
find . -name "*.trc" -depth -mtime +60 -exec ls -l {} \;
find /path/to/files* -mtime +60 -print

To delete files older than 60 days
----------------------------------
find . -name "*.trc" -depth -mtime +60 -exec rm {} \;
find /path/to/files* -mtime +60 -exec rm {} \;
find /path/to/files* -type f -mtime +60 -print0 | xargs -r rm -rf

COMPRESS

nohup compress *.arc &
